The mission of the market The Plymouth Farmers’ Market at Plimoth Plantation is a diverse gathering with local music and LOTS of food! Local farmers and food-makers who locally source farm ingredients in their prepared foods greet guests with bits and bites, tastes and smells of real, good food. Outdoors and weekly June through late October; indoors and monthly from November through May. YEAR ROUND bringing local farmers and you together, to eat!
The Hope Street Farmers Market is a farmer-run cooperative created and managed by many of the best farmers and food artisans in Rhode Island. We sell fruits, vegetables, flowers, cheese, breads and pastries, pasture-raised meats, seafood, poultry and eggs, and many other items that we grow, make or raise ourselves. Come join us every Saturday morning from 9 to 1:00 and Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 to 6:00. Load up your shopping bags with great things to eat, listen to live music and spend time with your neighbors - all at Lippitt Park on the East Side of Providence where Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard meet.

The focus of this years market will be educating the public on the importance of eating healthy locally grown fruits and vegetables. When your local farmer arrives at the Dartmouth Farmers markets he or she has traveled a distance of just a few miles. This is not the same produce that is trucked thousands of miles from California, Seattle, or comes from other countries. When you taste local produce, fruits, and vegetables you can taste the difference and it is healthier for you. Also shop the market for locally handmade products from local artists and crafts people!
